Aims & Objectives
As outlined in our Memorandum of Association, MAPS is dedicated to:
Scientific Evolution: To promote, direct, and evolve the art and science of Plastic Surgery in Maharashtra along sound and progressive lines.
Patient Care: To coordinate the efforts of all surgeons to advance patient safety and care standards.
Knowledge Dissemination: To facilitate the exchange of knowledge among surgeons and educate the lay public about the scope of plastic surgery.
Academic Encouragement: To institute fellowships, orations, and prizes (such as the MAPS Best Paper Award) to recognize excellence.
Global Connection: To establish scholarships and maintain liaisons with national and international bodies to foster learning.
